Confessions of an Oil Addict!

Wild Orange

Wild Orange

Five years has passed since a bottle of dōTERRA’s Wild Orange CPTG Essential Oil was thrust under my nose and I took a whiff.  Oh boy!   The smell! The fragrance!  The heady scent from that bottle I was now holding in my hands. No words can describe adequately what happened to the olfactory bulb in my brain. My emotions, my feelings were all on super alert. I was feeling high!!  I wanted to drown myself in the aroma. I was smitten.  Wow!

My addiction started there and then!  In all the years I had been using essential oils in my part time massage practice, I had never, ever smelt anything so pure!

dōTERRA oils are CPTG oils meaning they are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Oils. This is important as it is what separates this particular brand from all others. It means the plants from which the oils are extracted have been properly harvested and processed and are free of contaminants.

If you absolutely knew that natural plant based products, such as dōTERRA’s CPTG essential oils helped, without doubt, contribute to your health and all over well being would you use them?  You see, we are so western medicine orientated and have been brought up to believe that that if you feel “off” then take a pill or see the Doctor.  Don’t get me wrong Western Medicine is great and it is necessary.  I do think the Pharmaceutical Companies that push drugs (prescriptive or otherwise) onto us have a lot to answer for.

We could, if we chose, consistently contribute to our well being by using Mother Nature’s options first in the form of these essential oils.  Then if that doesn’t work, take the next responsible step and visit your Doctor.

Essential oils are not absolute, (nothing is), however, they are an affordable, natural option which with consistent use are likely to be a worthwhile preventative against succumbing to every ill and virus that surrounds us in daily life.

Toxic overload these days is common.  So is extreme stress.  Whether we are a parent, an accountant, a corporate leader or a truck driver, we all experience stress levels that are not healthy, and let’s not forget students, especially around exam time. So, become addicted.
